Loving the Lord with your MIND in COVID-19 Times
“And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
As we’ve walked through the past three weeks of the COVID-19 quarantine, Restoration Academy remains committed to advancing the two greatest commandments in the life of each student. This mission statement is as true today as it was a month ago when our classrooms were filled with students.
This week we launched RA Away, a full-bodied online learning program for each of the 365 students at Restoration Academy. God has given us 365 precious, uniquely made students who depend on the school to educate them holistically and fully in Christ-centered education. This commitment will not falter as we transition our students on online learning. The education will be excellent and our students will be continually pointed to Jesus.
An immediate need we addressed for our students was lack of proper computers and wireless in their homes. To date, over 40 computers have been handed out to RA students and five families have had wireless installed in their homes (shout out to our amazing partners at Spectrum).
On Monday morning, we went live and school is most definitely back in session! While it looks different from the first three quarters this year, school WILL continue at Restoration Academy as we seek to prepare our students for this amazing work and the amazing life they have ahead!
