Sports Philosophy
Restoration Academy utilizes sports to meet the physical, academic, and spiritual needs of students. The mission of the athletic department is to train up the whole child by utilizing the classroom and the athletic field to disciple children, develop their character, and to provide them with the tools they’ll need to live a successful Christian life. Training up the whole child involves a holistic approach to physical training as well as academic success.
Restoration Academy is a member of the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) and competes as a mid-sized school. The athletic department has over 50 high school student-athletes who compete in six varsity programs: volleyball, boys’ and girls’ basketball, cheerleading, track and field, and cross country. Restoration Academy also has multiple junior varsity teams and elementary programs in soccer, basketball, and dance.
