setting up success
Firmly rooted in the belief of providing a high-quality Christian-based education focused on academic excellence wherein the mind and heart are educated, Restoration Academy is changing lives. Each day, shirts are tucked in; conversations happen eye to eye; Christian leadership is pervasive; minds and characters are developing.
And yet, deep needs exist. Daily, students struggle to achieve a level of academic success that would prepare them to be contributing members of society. These students’ lives, their family’s wellbeing, and a prospering community are gravely at-risk. Restoration Academy is heeding the call to meet a particular population of students at their points of need.
High-character students like these with significant academic challenges require an educational strategy that extends beyond the traditional classroom setting. They need intentional, deliberate attention to be set up for success. Setting Up Success achieves academic success of at-risk students on an individualized basis and in the context of Christian love and truth. Based around a model of one-on-one individualized attention, the program enables students to receive specialized educational teaching and advocacy for services through a carefully strategized approach from a core team of educational professionals and dedicated individuals.
The critical importance of educational strategy for those students who struggle extends beyond personal success; the role of education impacts families and communities in a very real way. All children deserve quality education; you can become a partner in this critical endeavor.
Several specific needs exist:
• Volunteer tutoring
• In-kind contributions: educational enrichment materials or services, etc.
• Prayer specifically for the students, teachers, and volunteers working alongside the program
The stories of our students are peppered with challenges; however, that’s not their whole story. With your empowering partnership, they can see success, of once only dreamt, become a reality.
